Anti-Ragging Policy

Shri. Dnyandev Limbaji Tambare Samajkary Mahavidyalay, Tagadgaon is committed to maintaining a ragging-free campus and a safe, respectful learning environment for all students.

Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the college campus, hostels (if applicable), and during any academic or extracurricular activity conducted by the institution.

The college follows the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions and the directives issued by the Government of Maharashtra.

 


 

What Constitutes Ragging

Ragging includes, but is not limited to:

  • Physical or mental abuse

  • Teasing, bullying, or harassment

  • Verbal abuse or offensive language

  • Forced activities causing humiliation or distress

  • Any act that violates the dignity of a student

 


 

Zero Tolerance Policy

The institution adopts a zero-tolerance approach towards ragging. Any student found guilty of ragging is liable to face strict disciplinary action, including:

  • Suspension or cancellation of admission

  • Debarring from examinations

  • Expulsion from the institution

  • Filing of FIR, if required, as per law

 


 

Anti-Ragging Committee

The college has constituted an Anti-Ragging Committee to prevent, monitor, and address any incidents of ragging.

  • Chairperson (Principal)

  • Senior Faculty Members

  • Administrative Representative

  • Student Representative

  • Parent Representative (if applicable)

(Names and designations will be displayed as per official approval.)

 


 

Anti-Ragging Squad

An Anti-Ragging Squad actively monitors the campus and intervenes in case of any suspected or reported ragging activities.

 


 

Student Responsibilities

  • Students must strictly refrain from any form of ragging.

  • Any incident of ragging should be reported immediately to the college authorities.

  • Students must cooperate with the Anti-Ragging Committee and Squad.

 


 

How to Report Ragging

Students can report ragging through:

  • Direct complaint to the Principal or faculty members

  • Written complaint to the Anti-Ragging Committee

  • National Anti-Ragging Helpline

Undertaking by Students

All students are required to submit an Anti-Ragging Undertaking at the time of admission as prescribed by UGC.
