Admission Overview

Admission to the Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) programme at Shri. Dnyandev Limbaji Tambare Samajkary Mahavidyalay, Tagadgaon is conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek and the Government of Maharashtra.

The MSW programme is a full-time, professional postgraduate course designed to develop competent and socially responsible social work professionals.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate seeking admission to the MSW programme must satisfy any one of the following conditions:

  • Must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in any faculty from a recognized university with minimum 40% marks,

    OR

  • Must have passed a Post-Graduate Degree from a recognized university.


 

Admission Process

Admissions are carried out through the official admission process prescribed by the University.

Steps to Apply
  1. Obtain and submit the application form through the KKSU University online admission portal.

  2. Complete the application process within the prescribed admission schedule.

  3. Submit required documents to the college office for verification.

  4. Pay the prescribed registration fee at the time of application.

Selection Procedure

  • Selection is made strictly on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

  • No candidate is permitted to register for any other course simultaneously.

Additional Weightage (As per University Norms)

Additional marks may be awarded for:

  • Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.) qualification

  • Post-Graduate Degree

  • Participation in NSS activities

  • Participation in University / State / National level sports events

  • Participation in University / State / National level cultural or extracurricular activities

Preference

Preference is given to:

  • Students from Beed District

  • Students from Marathwada Region

  • Rural background candidates


 

Important Conditions

  • Admission is strictly limited to 60 students per academic year.

  • The MSW programme is a full-time course.

  • Students are not permitted to take up part-time or full-time employment during the course.

  • Being an intensive programme, regular attendance in classroom and fieldwork is mandatory.


 

Attendance Requirements

  • Minimum Classroom Attendance: 75%

  • Minimum Fieldwork Attendance: 90%

Students failing to meet attendance requirements may not be permitted to appear for examinations, as per university rules.
